Within The Shed, Timberland’s in-house design studio, I assisted in crafting one-of-one footwear pieces that merged story and craft. I also helped in workshop sessions with designers and makers, contributing to a culture of hands-on experimentation. Additionally, my focus included developing new approaches to fabrication and detailing.

In Chair Studio, I designed and built four chairs and an ottoman. Each project explored different relationships between form, comfort, and construction. The studio emphasized hands-on experimentation and material process as tools for design thinking.

Auralis reimagines headphone design by addressing the pain of wearing earrings with traditional devices. Drawing inspiration from orchids, the form includes integrated earring cutouts for comfort and self-expression. The concept was modeled in Rhino and visualized using AI tools to explore variations in form and finish.

04

“Sound Makers” is a modular tabletop piece that explores how sound, form, and movement can emerge through playful and thoughtful making. The project focuses on experimentation and process, allowing techniques and materials to guide the final outcome.

This 4,000-square-foot mural transformed a formerly blank wall into a vibrant celebration of community, identity, and place at Boston University and Boston University Academy. Developed through design, fundraising, approvals, and installation, the project was fully initiative-driven and brought new life to an overlooked space.
